I am a Lecturer in Lecturer in Smart Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure, James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK. I have been focusing on making large-scale system assessment and optimisation tractable and computationally efficient. Ultimately, I envision to build a controllable Digital Twin of huge systems (e.g. national-scale transport system), with which we can learn new failure mechanisms, calibrate uncertainty models, flexibly propagate information backward and forward, and make real-time, risk-informed decisions.
